VALLEY VIEW, Texas – Strong storms that went across Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas have killed at least 20 people and injuring hundreds. The storms destroyed homes and a truck stop where dozens sought shelter during the latest deadly weather to strike the central U.S.
In Arkansas, Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a news conference Sunday night, eight people have died as the result of the storms. In Boone County, Arkansas, in the small town of Olvey, a 26-year-old woman was found dead outside of a destroyed home. “One person died in Benton County, and two more bodies were found in Marion County, officials said.”
Oklahoma and Kentucky have also been hit with strong storms that have killed and injured several other people. These strong storms have now moved east with the areas between Alabama and New York City being affected.
