NEW YORK, NY – Stanley 1913, in collaboration with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), has announced a voluntary recall of its Switchback [12 oz. and 16 oz.] and Trigger Action [12 oz., 16 oz., and 20 oz.] travel mugs. The recall comes after it was discovered that the lid threads on these mugs can shrink when exposed to heat and torque, potentially causing the lid to detach during use and posing a burn hazard to consumers.
