UPDATE: Up to 22 gunshot victims have been confirmed at local hospitals including nine children. One person, a woman was confirmed deceased. A motive for the shooting is still unclear. Three people have been arrested in connection with the shooting.

KANSAS CITY, MO – Police said several people were wounded in a shooting Wednesday afternoon just after the Chiefs parade and rally ended at Union Station.

The Kansas City Police Department stated that two armed people were taken into custody for more investigation. Officers are asking the people to leave the area and avoid the parking garage so first responders can treat the shooting victims. A KCTV5 photojournalist said that he saw four people receiving medical care, and two others receiving CPR at the scene of the shooting.
