U. S. Southern Border – The United States Customs and Border Protection has warned Border Patrol of an increased number of Haitian migrants due to rampant violence in the Caribbean country.
Brandon Judd, a Border Patrol agent who also serves as the president of the National Border Patrol Council, says that fleeing Hatians may take more than one route to get into the United States. If they are intercepted by the Coast Guard, they will be taken to Guantanamo Bay. If they are intercepted at the United States Southern border, then Border Patrol will hold them for processing.
