Troopers Seek Public’s Help in Locating Missing 12-Year-Old Girl

MT. PLEASANT, Mich. — The Michigan State Police are requesting assistance from the public in locating 12-year-old Madisun Hoogeveen. Madisun, who has a thin build and stands 5 feet 6 inches tall, has long blonde hair and wears glasses.

She was last seen at approximately 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, walking away from her home near 100th Avenue and 4 Mile Road in Hinton Township, Mecosta County. She has not been heard from since.

Madisun was wearing blue jeans, a black sweatshirt with a blue shirt underneath, and dark-colored rain boots. She may be carrying a tan backpack, a blue water bottle, and a pink pencil box.

Anyone with information on Madisun’s whereabouts is urged to contact Trooper Abbey at 517-582-1617 or Meceola County Dispatch at 231-796-4811.
