Immigration crisis grows in South America
Costa Rica has now declared a “state of emergency” as immigrations grow through that country. After sharply rising numbers, Costa Rica’s president Rodrigo Chaves has ordered a state of emergency.
More than 60,000 migrants have crossed into the country using the small border town of Paso Canoas. There have been riots and other crimes being committed. Chaves says that people should “not take their kindness for weakness”. Chavez plans to visit Panama to discuss the problem with leaders there.
