(Michigan) – According to an article on Fox 2 out of Detroit, Michigan, Students enrolled at K-12 schools in Michigan, may be soon allowed to have medical marijuana and cbd infused products at school. There has been a bill brought about that will be allowing medical approved students to take CBD-infused products as well as medical marijuana.
The bill HB 5603 , introduced by Democratic representatives in the Michigan House about a week ago, would make it legal for students to ingest these products on school grounds as well as on school buses such as edibles, beverages, and other products with low amounts of marijuana.
It is said that there will be a designated staff member that would be authorized to give these products to medically approved students, with written permission if and when it is acceptable to be given.
The goal is to make it possible for the students that are qualified to receive the medical marijuana and CBD-infused products have the easier ability to access it.
