Missing Child Found Safe

UPDATE:  Wednesday morning Genesee County 911 says the child has been found safe.

Montrose Township, MI – The Montrose Police Department is actively searching for an 11-year-old girl named Genny. She is described as a black female, approximately 4 feet tall and weighing 60 pounds. Genny was last seen in the 9000 block of N. Morrish Rd in Montrose Township, wearing a grey sundress with rainbows and no shoes.

Authorities are urging anyone who may have seen Genny to immediately contact 9-1-1 or the Montrose Police Department.

Update – 12:38 PM: Officers are now requesting that residents check their properties and buildings. Multiple police and fire agencies are involved in the search efforts in the area.
