Michigan State Police investigating shooting at 7-11 in Saginaw

SAGINAW, Mich –  Michigan State Police are investigating a shooting at the 7-11 store at the intersection of State St. & Bay Road. Investigators say the isolated incident began was a fight between two men around 6:15 p.m. Saturday.

Investigators say a 25-year-old man was shot by another man and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect is a 43-year-old Saginaw man and is in custody.

Police say there is no threat to the community.
