A large debt collection agency called (FBCS) Financial Business and Consumer Solutions has been hacked. Millions of Americans information has been compromised. The agency specializes in collecting charged-off consumer and commercial debts such as car loans, health care bills, utility bills, student loans and credit cards. The number of the people affected was around 1.9 million which was raised to 3 million just earlier this month.
The breach released a treasure trove of data including names, Social Security numbers, DOB’s, and also driver’s license information. Financial Business and Consumer Solutions (FBCS) has notified individuals affected by the breach as well as concerned authorities.
