Denver, CO – The city of Denver is looking to cut jobs from the Parks and Recreation in order to address the migrant crisis in that city. “The city government is looking to cut $4.3 million in funding from its Parks and Recreations department and use that money towards handling the migrant crisis that has been stressing the city’s resources.”
The mayor of Denver, Mike Johnston said that criticized the federal government for not doing enough to help with the migrant crisis. “I’m incredibly proud of how city team members have stepped up over the past year, but it is clear that the federal government is not going to support our city,” he said.
