Update: The suspected shooter in yesterday’s school shooting is 14 year old Colt Gray. Authorities say that he has been charged with four counts of murder and will be charged as an adult. Colin Gray, the 54-year-old father of the teen have been arrested and four counts of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of second-degree murder and eight counts of cruelty to children.

Barrow County, Georgia – A shooting at Apalachee High School in Barrow County has left “several casualties” and the suspect is in custody. Two medic helicopters were seen landing at the school and two people were loaded on those helicopters and the patients were taken to a local trauma center. Other hospitals in the area were said to be receiving gun shot victims. At the time of this writing, an exact number of wounded was not known. The high school was reported to be on a hard lockdown and students were evacuated.

Law enforcement is being assisted by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation at the scene. Four people have been confirmed dead and several have been injured.
