UPDATE: Of the officers that were shot yesterday, four of those officers have died from their wounds and another four are in serious condition at local hospitals.
A second shooter was involved in the shooting after the subject of the search warrant was killed in the gunfire.

Charlotte, North Carolina – Many police officers were wounded in an active shooter situation in Charlotte, North Carolina. The SWAT team is on scene. “The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department reported that “numerous” officers were shot at the scene in the 5000 block of Galway Drive, which is in the Shannon Park neighborhood.”
The U.S. Marshalls Task Force was in the process of serving a warrant when the shooting began.
