HILLSDALE COUNTY, MI – Michigan State Police (MSP) are currently on the scene of an officer-involved shooting at the intersection of Beecher Road and Lamb Road.
The incident occurred earlier today, resulting in a deputy being transported to a local hospital for treatment. The condition of the deputy has not been disclosed at this time. The suspect involved in the shooting has not yet been apprehended.

A Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Deputy was shot Thursday Michigan State Police confirmed to News 10. The suspect was located after hours of searching.
The suspect was identified as Eric Michael Fiddler. Michigan State Police say he was shot and killed by law enforcement.
There is no longer a threat to the public. It’s unclear if he was taken into custody.
The incident occurred on Beecher Rd. and Lamb Rd, the area is considered a crime scene.
