LEWISTON, Maine – Law enforcement in Lewiston, Maine reported 22 people have been shot and killed. Fifty to sixty more people are believed to be injured.
The AP reports, Maine State Police ordered residents in the state’s second-largest city to shelter in place Wednesday night because of an active shooter situation in multiple locations.
Lewiston Police said in a Facebook post that they were dealing with an active shooter incident at Schemengees Bar and Grille and Sparetime Recreation, a bowling alley.
