DETROIT, Mich — A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for all of Southeast Michigan, effective from Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning, the National Weather Service (NWS) in Detroit announced early Tuesday.
Heavy snowfall is expected to impact the region, with projections indicating between 4 to 7 inches of snow accumulation by Wednesday night. Areas north of I-94 may experience up to 8 inches, while light icing is possible in locations south of I-94.

“Forecast adjustments are likely as we monitor the storm’s track and determine where snow and a wintry mix will fall,” the NWS stated.
