MARQUETTE, Mich – A U.S. Coast Guard crew from Marquette, Michigan rescued 5 people from a burning vessel yesterday evening.
The vessel’s owner is working to produce a salvage plan. There was up to 250 gal of diesel onboard.
The Coast Guard says pollution responders have determined as of this morning, all diesel had burned off in the fire & no pollution threat exists.
