LANSING, Mich – Michigan House Representative Josh Shriver will introduce legislation Thursday aimed at honoring the peacemakers who are working to de-escalate the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.

Tuesday Michigan House Republicans gathered on the steps of the Capitol in Lansing calling on Democrats to approve a resolution that condemns the terrorist acts committed by Hamas.
Last week Congressman Bill Schuette (R) introduced the resolution, hoping that it would simply pass through both chambers. He was joined by 53 other legislators from the local Lower House, who jointly sponsored the resolution.
The Democrat-led House failed to take up the resolution.
